How it all started

In 1995, I wrote a program for my business to track income and expenses using a database. I had been using spreadsheets, but that made it hard to locate records. So, the “Monthly Income and Expense Tracker” was born. That program worked perfectly for what I needed and, with the advice of my brother-in-law, I made it available to the world as a very inexpensive desktop application.

Over the years, I found myself wanting more features….and an updated user interface. So, in 2023, I completely rewrote that software and added the features that I wanted for my business and personal use. That was the birth of EZIE. I used this new program for most of 2023 and into 2024 and it works great.

Users of the old Monthly Income and Expense Tracking software will have no problems transitioning to EZIE. I have provided a way to import all of your MoIE data into the new EZIE!
